This circular room has a spectacular polished floor of lapis lazuli, dark and shiny, its golden veins contrasting merrily, running like simulated lightning across the floor. The goldsmithery is still here as the great craftsman continues his work on the altar. A newly constructed, highly polished, wooden stair leads downward.
