Perched atop the Hourglass Tower, the view here of the surrounding forest is spectacular. The floor was cut from a single massive sliver of clear quartz, not an imperfection nor streak can be seen upon it. Framing the circular floor are several free-floating railings of similar translucent mineral, keeping any preoccupied visitors from tumbling over the side. Several gently humming bookcases slowly rotate in a deliberate pattern, as though floating on an unseen carousel. The domed ceiling is etched with grooves on the outside to allow for any precipitation to roll off easily in miniature waterfalls. Blue, white and black columns rise to the center of ceiling and downward, giving support to a spiral stairway. A strange and dark cloud hovers at the center of the dome, revealing the occasional geometric lightning.
